Crest and Motto                                          

The motto on the crest of Cobham Bowls Club is the Latin  Finem Respice.

The English translation of this is 'Look back at the end'. In other words 'Have regard for the end' or 'Consider the end'. Very appropriate in all that we do on the Green and should remind us that all our actions, deeds and endeavours have consequences in determining the outcome of the game.
