Cobham Bowls Club was founded in 1921 and is one of the oldest bowls clubs in Kent. We continually strive to maintain our reputation by the sporting acceptance of results and decisions and to promote courtesy and friendliness among our members. Our  Club season is between April and September each year. The Club is extremely competitive and although it has a membership approaching 100, it is always keen to invite new members to apply who would like to take up the challenge of playing bowls at either Club, County or National level. For further information contact either the Men's Secretary, Mr.D.Short or  the Ladies Secretary, Mrs.A.Bowyer.

Men's Captain

Walter (Wally) Collings

Our Captain, Walter Collings or Wally as he is better known, lives in Cobham and has been a member of Cobham B.C. for 34 years. He was Vice Captain to Eli Smith for 7 years and has been Captain for the past 5 years. Wally likes the odd glass of Scotch and is famous for awarding 'mars bars' to his highest winning rink - usually himself; so if you want to play on Wally's rink you know what to do.
